About

Bonne Bouche

Small bites. Big flavor. Served with grace, grit, and the occasional eye roll.

Welcome to Bonne Bouche.

I’ve been threatening to start a blog for years — not because the world needs another voice shouting into the void, but because my brain doesn’t come with an “off” switch. Thoughts stack up — the good, the raw, the ridiculous — and if I don’t put them somewhere, they start leaking out sideways.

So here we are. Bonne Bouche. It’s French for “a delicious mouthful” — a small bite that’s meant to be savored. That’s the idea here: not long-winded essays, not overpolished perfection, just little morsels of life as I’m tasting them. Sharp, sweet, salty, sometimes bitter, but always real.

Every Friday, I share my “Friday Recap” — five thoughts that stuck with me during the week and one lesson that refused to let go. Some will sting, some might make you laugh, and some will sound like me talking too loud at the kitchen table. (Because let’s be honest — that’s probably exactly what I’m doing.)

Bonne Bouche isn’t a sermon or a soapbox. It’s a space to slow down, laugh at the chaos, and find a little perspective. You’ll see hints of my faith — because it’s part of who I am — but you’ll also find honesty, humor, and a healthy dose of “me too” moments.

Life’s a mix of flavors, and we weren’t meant to swallow it all whole. So pull up a chair, grab a fork, and let’s chew on life together — one delicious mouthful at a time.
